Welcome to 3/4th Grade Math and Science!
Hi there! My name is Kacy Gilkerson, but you can call me Ms. Kacy! Welcome to the St. Michael 3/4th grade Math and Science page! I am beyond blessed to be able to spend my third year as an educator with you! I have spent a lot of time professionally and personally with St. Michael school and I could not be more excited to spend this school year with some of the most incredible and talented students. It excites me to be able to be a part of your growth and continuing your education.
Again, this is my third year as an educator. I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University in May 2022 and plan to continue to build on my resume and education as well! It was a long but rewarding journey to obtain my degree to do the very thing I love most! Teaching! It wasn't until my first year of college that I discovered my passion for helping others and being a part of molding young minds. I am truly thankful for this opportunity and hope to make our year an unforgettable one with your help!
I am 25 years old, and I tend to live life to the fullest and my soul is full of sunshine. I believe life is short so there's no room for regrets! In my free time, you will find me spending time with my friends and family! They mean the world to me. We spend our summers boating, traveling and enjoying the sun! Also, if there is music playing, make way because I'm somewhere close by breaking out the dance moves!
During my time in college, I had the privilege of working at St. Michael school as a teacher's aide. In that time, I fell in love with the environment, the dedication, the drive, the inspiring faculty and so much more. I fell in love with how tight knit we all fell during the school year. Our little school is capable of so much and I can't wait to see what my 3rd and 4th graders will accomplish this year! I look forward to hearing about everyone's summer and to see you bright and early on the first day of school! Please if you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to ask!
