Transportation
Students at St. Michael come from many different school districts: RULH, Georgetown, Western Brown, Eastern Brown, Fayetteville, White Oak, North Adams, West Union, Bethel-Tate, Felicity, Manchester, and Mason County (KY)
Currently SMS only receives bus service from Georgetown and Ripley.
Students who live in the RULH school district can ride from their homes, and transfer to the designated bus at Ripley high school which will bring them to St. Michael. At the end of the day, students will get back on the Ripley bus, and transfer at the high school to the bus that goes to their home.
Students who live in Georgetown meet at St. George in Georgetown, and are transported to St. Michael, then returned to St. George at the end of the day. To ride the Georgetown bus, parents must fill out this form, and turn it in to the bus driver Kelly Heslar either in person or at james.heslar@gtown.k12.oh.us
Students who live in a school district other than Georgetown or Ripley, may use the SMS bus that leaves the Home Place in Georgetown at 7:10am in the morning, and drops off students at approximately 3:10pm. There is a cost to parents associated with this bus service.
Many students at SMS are brought and picked up by their parents. Parking is a challenge at SMS and it is extremely important that anyone who picks up or drops off students should know the process.
