Good Afternoon SMS Parents,
We are less than three weeks from the first day of school, and we have a few announcements as you prepare for the 2023-24 school year.
First, due to rising food costs, we will be raising the price of school lunch from $2.75 to $3 per day. This price is similar if not less than most public schools. We will keep milk costs the same as last year.
if you haven't started yet, I'm sure many of you have started school shopping. There is one change to the uniform policy this year. Girls will be allowed to wear black skirts or skorts. These are available at Schoolbelles. They should be made of uniform material, NOT dri fit, mesh or sweat pant material. Their length should be the same as the policy for our shorts and plaid skirts, and should pass the fingertips.
Other than that, please make sure your uniform sweatshirts or hoodies are uniform approved. They should be red or black hoodies or crew neck. Approved logos are attached.
Finally, if you haven't started filling out your eforms on OptionC, I encourage you to start working on that when you have some time. That portal will be open through September, but all of those eforms are important. Anyone new to the system would have received login information in their envelope that was sent home at the end of June.
