We hope everyone had a great break! It looks like many of our students crushed it at the Brown County Fair, I hope to have more on that as I get to talk to our students tomorrow. Since we are getting back to it tomorrow, I wanted to send out a few reminders to help us get started on the right track.

  • Normally, we change the dress code following fair break. After looking at the weather this week, we are going to continue to allow uniform shorts until further notice.
  • BUS UPDATE: Our bus has been purchased, we just need a few i's dotted and t's crossed. The bigger issue now is the driver. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure a driver who currently holds all the proper credentials, so we are working on drivers who are going through the process of getting the proper credentials. Unfortunately this takes time, so we will not have bus service yet for students who would normally be picked up in Georgetown, but do not live in Georgetown's school district. I know many of you have been  able to work out a temporary solution, however if anyone is in a real bind, please do not hesitate to call or email me (andy.arn@stmichaelripley.com), and we will find a temporary solution until our bus is up and running.
  • Please remember to send in your white SMS folders tomorrow with your parent-teacher conference slip, Grandparent's Day signup sheet, and for P-2 families, permission slips for R-Farms.
  • If you are sending in checks or cash for lunch, milk, tuition, etc, please be sure to put it in an envelope that lets us know who it is from, and what it is for.

On behalf of the entire staff at SMS, we are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
