Hello SMS parents!
It’s hard to believe, but it is already approaching time for our annual chess club signups!
This year we will run November through January. I am sending this letter home for you to indicate if your student would like to participate and ask for the primary and secondary days-of-the week that would work best for your schedules.
Last year we had 34 students sign up, so I can’t guarantee that everyone will get their primary day, but I will do my best to accommodate. As always if there is a conflict please let me know that and we will figure out a solution together.
We will plan on Monday, Wednesday and Friday right after school until 4pm. Your child will be assigned ONE of these days as their day for their chess club group. The club this year will take
place in my homeroom (the new modular in the parking lot).
Look for the permission slip below, which will be sent home tomorrow, Wednesday, October 24.
