recycle

On Wednesday, September 4, our 5th and 6th grade students will be spending the day with the crew at Living Lands and Waters, who will be docked in Augusta Kentucky. We have taken students to their workshops many times, and they do a great job teaching about conservation, recycling and the ecosystem of the river systems of the interior of the United States.

We will leave by SMS bus following morning prayer, and travel to Augusta, Kentucky and board the Living Lands and Waters barge to participate in activities. All students will wear life jackets and the crew does a great job going over safety procedures before they get started. Students should pack a lunch. We will return to the school before the end of the day. Permission slip and waivers will be coming home in the next couple weeks.
