Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, October 10 from 1:00-6:00 pm at the school. At SMS, one of our key beliefs is that parents are the first and most important teacher in any child's life, so it is our mission to work with our parents to give our children the best education possible. This relationship between parents and teachers relies on open lines of communication and support. We strongly encourage all of our parents to register for conferences. If this date does not work for you, please reach out to your child's teacher and try to set something up. Our staff is looking forward to meeting with you all.
In order to have time to meet with all of our parents, we will be running on 10 minute meeting intervals. If a conference needs to go beyond 10 minutes, we will set something up for a later date.
PreK- 2 Teachers have individual signups, although Mrs. Pedigo and Mrs. Earhart will meet with parents together. Mrs. Moon and Miss Kacy will meet with 3rd and 4th grade parents together. Mr. Pedigo, Mrs. Hubbard, and Mr. Hyde will meet with parents of 5-8 students as a group. Mrs. Ernst and Mrs. Daulton will have separate times available since they work with students from several different grades. Mrs. Hamilton will not be able to attend that evening.
