Good afternoon SMS Families!

Hard to believe we are two months in, but we are thriving! Thank you for your support, and a great start to the school year.

Looking ahead at this week,

Monday- Due to RULH being out of school, there will be no Ripley bus service at all tomorrow.

Tuesday-, Some of our girls in 7th and 8th grade will be attending the "Women in Manufacturing" Event at Mason County Community and Technical College.

Friday- On Friday, the "Our Lady of Fatima" statue will be at SMS, and can be viewed after school mass.

Friday evening, we will have the annual SMS Halloween Party in the school parking lot. There will be no parking in the parking lot due to the need for space. The party is from 6:00-8:00 pm and all SMS families are welcome. Special thanks to Miss Kacy, Mrs. Hubbard and Mrs. Moon for organizing this year's party!

Some of our students will be serving our community this Friday, to raise awareness for the victims of the recent hurricanes. Remember if you are aware of any service projects that our students can take on, or would like to help with this project, please contact us at the school!

One last note: There will be a parent meeting for all parents of second graders who will make their First Confession this year. The meeting is Monday, October 28 at St. Mary in Arnheim at 7:00 pm.

Have a great week!
