Good afternoon SMS Families! Thanks to all who came out Friday for our annual Halloween Party. Special thanks to Miss Kacy, Mrs. Moon, and Mrs. Hubbard for organizing the party, and to all who pitched in to make it a good time for our families.
It looks like we have temps in the 70's most of the week. This is likely the last week for shorts. I just want to make sure everyone has plenty of heads up to be sure they have uniform pants.
Tomorrow is Spirit Day! Students may wear SMS spirit wear with appropriate jeans or uniform shorts.
Tomorrow evening there is a meeting for parents of second grade students who will be making their First Confession this year. The meeting is at 7:00 pm at St. Marys in Arnheim.
On Wednesday, students may wear Halloween costumes to school. Costumes should be appropriate for school.
Friday is All Saints Day, and we encourage everyone to research, and dress up like their favorite Saint!
Friday is also the last day of the First Trimester. Report cards will come home Wednesday, 11/6.
Please remember to send in your forms for the Harvest Dinner if you have not yet done so. We need everyone to donate desserts for the dinner or to be auctioned. We also need volunteers to help with the dinner, and everyone to encourage everyone you know to stop by and get a dinner next Sunday!
Also, remember there is no school on Monday, November 4.
Safety Note: When you are picking up your children from the Georgetown bus and SMS bus, please wait until the bus leaves before you leave. It is not safe to drive while there are children walking in the parking lot. Please make sure anyone who is picking up your child is aware of this as well. Thank you.
Have a great week!
