Today, some of our 8th grade students, under the supervision of Mrs. Seip, helped prepare lunch for the school using local beef from Buckeye Valley Beef Cooperative. They chopped and sautéed vegetables, boiled the pasta, fried the beef, and put all the ingredients toget
her to make today's pasta entree. They even cleaned up after themselves. The food was delicious!

We will continue this program throughout the year, as small groups will have the opportunity to help Mrs. Seip preparing the meal. Thanks once again to "Ohio Feed Our Future" for the grant to help us with this project, and shout out to Mrs. Hamilton who put all of this together!
Students will be coming home today with recipe books, activity books, stickers, and fact sheets which were provided as part of this program.
