The 3rd and 4th grade have been working hard on publishing books of poetry. They came up with the name of their book, what their cover should look like, and dedicated their books to something or someone important to them.
Our students learned about different types of poetry, and created their own of different types of poems. Then they picked their favorite type of poem and created a unique page. Some of the skills they learned were pre-writing, drafting, making revisions, editing and finalizing their pages. They also created an illustration to go with each page.
They did an excellent job!
