It is that time of year again to apply for or renew EdChoice Expansion Scholarships. I encourage you all to read this year's fact sheet, but not much has changed in regards of how to apply. If you are new to the scholarship (kindergarten, or new students in grades 1-8) you will need to fill out the EdChoice Request Form, and turn it in to the office along with a birth certificate to start the process. If you are renewing your child's scholarship, you will need to fill out the EdChoice Renewal Form, and turn it in to the office.
Along with your request or renewal form, you will also need to turn in proof of address, which the best possible form is a utility bill that shows service and mailing address.
EdChoice Expansion is for Ohio residents only and is based solely on income. Once we (St. Michael) has uploaded all forms that have been turned in, then parents will have to verify their income to determine the amount of scholarship that your child will receive. Here are some helpful tips for the income verification portal.
