Lent is the Liturgical Season on the Church Calendar in which we prepare for the most important day of the year, Easter. The way we prepare is through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, which is Wednesday, March 5. We will have Mass here, at St. Michael, and ashes will be distributed to our students, in the form of a cross on our foreheads.
