We will try once again to get on a regular schedule next week with (hopefully) five-day weeks for the foreseeable future.
Reminder that the Father/Daughter Dance is tonight! Thanks to everyone who has pitched in to make this an unforgettable event every year!
Good luck tomorrow to our 3rd - 8th grade "superior" rated scientists who will compete at the Brown County Science Fair, at the Brown County ESC!

Monday- Spirit Day!
Tuesday-
We will try again on Spring Pictures. All students may be out of uniform, but should dress appropriately for school. Pants should be loose fitting with not rips, or tears.
There will be a meeting at 6:00 pm, at St. Michael School in room 201 (Mrs. Ernst's room) for all parents of 2nd graders who will be making their first communion.
Thursday- 5th and 8th grade students will be taking the ACRE test in the morning. Please avoid any non-illness related absences at that time.
Friday- Mrs. Chelsa Burke will be here in the afternoon, to talk to our students in grades 6-8 about digital identity and responsible use of technology. Special thanks t Mrs. Burke for volunteering her time to discuss these important issues with our students!
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, on March 5. We encourage all of our families to pray, fast, and give alms, as we seek a deeper relationship with Jesus in this Lenten season.
We are only two weeks from our first, SMS Fish Fry of the year. If you have not yet signed up for your times to volunteer, you can do so here. Please also, share the flyer that is on our public fb page and paper copies are available in the office, if you know of a high traffic area that would be a good place to post one. I would also like to remind many of our parents, that we do have limited delivery on Fridays for lunch within a 15 minute radius for large orders. In fact, we have several businesses such as RTS, Pepsi, St. Pat, and the Brown County Courthouse who order nearly every week. If your place of business would like to place an order, please contact me, and we will work something out.
Also in two weeks will be our first of five, $1,000 drawings in the SMS $10K Giveaway, culminating in $10,000 being given away at the last fish fry on April 11. If all the tickets that are out get sold and turned in, we will make our goal. Currently, we have cleared about $2,000 in this fundraiser. Our goal is $25,000, so we need to sell around 1,150 more tickets to get there! Thanks for doing your part!
I have had a lot of parents asking me if we are "out of snow days". The answer to that question is no, we have an unusually high number of hours "built in" do to the length of our school day. So we are good, legally. Having said that, we are going to pick up an extra day on Monday, March 24. This day was originally scheduled as a Professional Development day, but I think our students will be better served to be in school. So, when you see that day as a day off on the old calendars, scratch it out, we will be in school. It has already been updated on our Events page.
