THREEPEAT!! Congrats to Kowin Offutt who won an exciting championship match against Griffin Ernst to win her third consecutive SMS school chess championship. Both finished the year undefeated going into the tense match. Finishing in Third Place was Easton Swearingen who narrowly defeated Luke Brookbank in another great contest. This concludes the 4th SMS chess club season and with such a young group of students the level of competition should only get stronger next year!
