Despite the chilly day, our third and fourth grade classes visited Greenacres today, and had a great learning experience. Today's visit was all about fossils. Once again, our students were broken into groups, and visited various stations. In one station, students had the opportunity to look closely at fossils under a microscope. At another station, the students played a game, that helped them visualize how fossils were created in the first place. Finally, in the third station, students went on a walk to hunt for fossils on the grounds of Greenacres. Thanks to the Greenacres foundation for providing these fun, learning opportunities in our own community!
