Dear SMS Families,
We are excited to announce that Grandparents Day is coming back to SMS! We love our Grandparents and appreciate the vital role they play in so many of our student's lives, not to mention all our Grandparents do in volunteering and fundraising for SMS. This year, we invite all of our grandparents to join us on Friday, September 16 for Holy Mass beginning at 8:15am in the Church. We will be sending RSVP's home with students this week so we can reserve pews for grandparents to sit at mass with their grandchildren. Please return the RSVP's by Monday, September 12 to give us time to prepare. Students are welcome to sit with their grandparents at Mass that day, and the Ripley PD is going to direct traffic on Market Street so the students can hang out with their grandparents for a little while. After that, grandparents are invited to the Parish Hall for refreshments. We are looking forward to seeing our grandparents!
