Soil, sand, water, rocks, and warm temperatures made for the perfect science lesson today. The 5th & 6th grade students performed a ‘messy’ investigation lab full of fun and learning. Students worked in small groups to experiment and learn about wind and water erosion. All groups built hills and streams in foil pans to show the ability wind and waters has to move earth through the erosion process. The students were also able to witness the process of deposition and how different size particles move at different rates. The muddy madness was a very fun ending to a great week.
